Research

My research interests are in the development of MRI technology and its clinical translation, including:

  • Pulse sequence design

  • Image reconstruction algorithms with high-performance/parallel computing

  • Hepatic iron/fat quantification

  • Quantitative susceptibility mapping (QSM) in body

  • Renal functional MRI

  • Computational renal pathophysiology

  • Tumor hypoxia imaging

My past research projects include:

  • Information-theoretic and convex relaxation methods in computer vision
